On 23 September 2023, Patrick Glâtre, author of the book “Jean Gabin, La guerre c’est pas du cinéma”, and Mathias Moncorgé, Jean Gabin’s son, who wrote the preface, will be at the Normandy Victory Museum for a book signing not to be missed.
This book, published to coincide with the Jean Gabin exhibition currently on show at the museum, has been a great success with our visitors and with all those who love the icon of French cinema that was Jean Gabin. In 112 pages, numerous documents, anecdotes, and unpublished facts enrich the story of the actor’s atypical and exemplary career during the Second World War.
