Inauguration of the Sergeant Taylor exhibition at Normandy Victory Museum

On June 5, 2026, the Normandy Victory Museum is inaugurating its new exhibition dedicated to Sergeant Taylor, the only cameraman to have filmed the landing on Omaha Beach. The public will be able to preview the exhibition and meet the people who contributed to its creation, including Jennifer Taylor, daughter of the war correspondent.

An exceptional evening centered around Sergeant Taylor

The evening will begin with a short historical introduction devoted to the role of war correspondents during the Second World War.

Meeting with the project stakeholders

Visitors will then have the opportunity to meet Jennifer Taylor, daughter of Sergeant Taylor, who entrusted her father's personal archives to the museum. They will also be able to speak with Florent Plana, project partner and liaison with the Taylor family, as well as with filmmaker Joey Van Meesen, author of the documentary featured in the exhibition.
