Young people visit: Museum entrance + tour in armored vehicle
A real experience that makes this cultural visit alive and memorable

- Museum visit
- Tour in armored vehicle on the runway of the A10 Airfield (24€ instead of 39€)
Program
For groups from 20 participants
Simple visit of the museum
The visit is generally carried out by the person who accompanies the students on an educational journey in the middle of the twenty stages of the museum. These present in a chronological progression the different stages of the war 39-45 starting from the occupation until liberation with a focus on the battle of the hurdles which took place in La Manche. The historical, military and strategic aspects are highlighted but also the daily life of the Normans during the war.
During their journey through the museum, children discover and observe the details and objects of the collections collected over the years by the founders of the museum. These objects are for the most part authentic and some can be taken in hand by young people for a better understanding of the very concrete aspects of the daily life of the various actors during the war.
If the accompanying person is not able to lead the visit, a member of the museum team is available (optional: + 40 € for the group).
Tour in armored vehicle
A memorable experience that shakes!
It is an astonishing experience, raw, which shakes … the armored vehicle ride is generally appreciated by these young generations fond of sensations and sensitive to immersive activities. This armored tour takes them on a course designed by our teams on the runway of the former military airfield built by the Allies at the time of the landing. The opportunity to talk to them about the importance of logistics in war.
