In La manche and Normandy, the lands are forever marked by the events linked to the war and the landing. It is by evoking mythical names that visitors identify Normandy: Utah beach and its sisters, Colleville, Sainte-Mère Église. Some are less well known but remain forever engraved in the hearts of veterans and their families, such as the A10 airfield on which the museum is located.
