Concerts and entertainment during the 80th D-Day in Carentan

During these twelve days of commemorations to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, we invite you to join us in celebrating Freedom regained through a series of concerts given by music lovers and history buffs who will bring back to life the tunes of the 30s and 50s. A number of other festive events will also be on offer, and of course you can find the full DDAY 80 programme on this page.

They’ll be here for their D-DAY’s Tour 2024, for a concert in the style of swing, jazz, rock and “guinguette”.

The Dutch brass band will be playing tunes from the 40s. A few years ago, their visit to the museum was the occasion for a moving moment with veteran Vince Speranza, which we share with you below.

Band of brothers Music from WWII Concert

Séverine and Carlos offer you a parade of 1940s costumes. A competition is also being organised. You can still register to take part.

    The DDAY 80 ticket is a skip-the-line ticket valid from June 1 to June 12, 2024. Between these two dates, you can enter and leave the museum as many times as you like!

    Of course, you can always buy our traditional one-day ticket.
