80th D-DAY how to get to the museum? Shuttles and parking

As part of the 80th DDAY commemorations, the Normandy Victory Museum is offering a varied programme from 1 to 12 June 2024. The museum has a free car park, which will continue to accommodate visitors’ vehicles as usual during museum and restaurant opening hours (the car park will be closed at night).

Many visitors are expected in the region and the roads will be crowded! To make it easier for you to get around, the town of Carentan has set up a free shuttle service which will run on the weekends of 1 & 2 June and 8 & 9 June (see map and shuttle timetable below) and will pass through the SNCF station.
