The program of the day

Mini exhibition in the museum: The DFL Normandie association will present a mini exhibition with presentation of uniforms and animation on the theme of the 2nd DB, in the Jean Gabin space

This exhibition which will take place in the museum is accessible with an entrance ticket

Dedication in the reception hall: Jean Blaise Djian, screenwriter of the Normandie Juin 44 comic book series, will come to present and sign his latest work just out of print on the theme of General Leclerc’s 2nd comic book.

The book Normandy, June 44. La 2e DB du général Leclerc (éditions Orep)

Co-written with Isabelle Bournier (Screenplay); Andrea Rossetto (Drawing) and Catherine Moreau (Colors), the comic strip returns this time to the epic of the 2nd Armored Division with General Leclerc at its head. Landed in Normandy on August 1, 1944, she will go to Berchtesgaden in Germany. Among his troops was a well-known tank commander: Jean Moncorgé, known as Jean Gabin.

Publisher info: From 1941 to 1944, this album retraces, from Libya to Strasbourg, via Normandy and Paris, the journey of General Leclerc and the famous 2nd armored division.
